25TH BIENNALE OF SYDNEY - REMEMORY
Ema’s new commissioned work, Hearts of Absent Women (Tree of Family) is presented at Chau Chak Wing Museum part of the Biennial of Sydney 2026. This monumental scale of hand woven tapestry soft sculpture is commissioned by the Biennale of Sydney and BEEAH Group with generous support from National Center for Art Research, Japan and assistance from Tapestry Foundation Australia and Australian Tapestry Workshop (ATW). Woven by Ema Shin and ATW weaver Saffron Gordon.
